I know I've already posted once today, but it's 12:39AM, I'm still awake and I think blogging will make me sleepy! I've actually been up working on a mid-term paper for class. I contemplated making a large pot of coffee and pulling an all-nighter, but decided I probably need to be in good shape in case the little punkin' comes home from the hospital tomorrow! I know what you're thinking...I'm probably not going to be in good shape anyway since I'm not getting in bed until probably 1AM!
In the midst of my mid-term studying, I've been thinking about the fact that I only have ONE set of arms. Not really something you think about every day is it? Well, now that Baby Erin is here I've really started to think about it. So...that's one set of arms and THREE children. Mmmmm....I'm thinking I need a few more arms! Obviously that one is going to happen, so I took a break from my work and checked out baby slings on Amazon. The "Sleepy Wrap" came up with the best reviews.
Now, I've kept lots of newborns, but have never used one of these contraptions before. Here it is:
Can you see me with a baby wrapped around me like that every day?! I can't even imagine how the thing works, but according to the reviews it is fairly simple. And it looks like there are thousands of ways to wrap up the baby, which seems strange but I guess it works or otherwise people wouldn't buy it! You think I should go for it??
Poor Baby Erin doesn't even know that she might be spending the first few months of her life all wrapped up with no where to go! ;-)
OK, I think I need to turn off this computer and head to sleepytown. Sweet dreams to you!
Stewart! I found your blog through Amanda Welden's, and it's so cute! I'm so proud of you for moving so far away (I don't think I could do it - I'm a big chicken). Anyway, what a great way to catch up with you! I read your beginning posts, and I felt like I could still hear you on the phone with your mama in your room at Darlington :) Hang in there!!
